I'm going to be a little contradictory here. First, I felt that the descriptions of sex were overly explicit; that's okay, it's a personal taste kind of thing. But on the other hand, one of the things that I really loved about this book was the physicality of it... the acknowledgement of physical desire, and of physical attraction. The core romance is believable and delicious, and I am going to go read more of Ms Essex' writing as soon as I write this review.There's a lot of good story here, outside the core romance. The viewpoint character's relationship with her family and her best friend make for great reading, and I'd love to see what happens with these characters, next.

I'm not very good at writing individual reviews because I tend to accidentally give away spoilers and plot points so I
figured I would write out a generic review instead and save myself the time and trouble. If I am putting this review on a
book it means that I found it to be truly exceptional and I enjoyed the journey very much, so thank you to the Author for
putting a great story down on the pages.
Overuse of certain language. Repetitive themes. Underwhelming climax that bled into an abrupt ending. Neither of which were particularly interesting and both of which were pretty predictable. Characters were pretty two dimensional. Which was sad because I still wanted to like them but just really couldn't. The romance was mostly organic and well done at the start then shifted to a basic romance model focusing on sex, flirting/making out, and obvious insecurity. Some story avenues weren't fully explored or rather could have been explored more adding deeper character development but were not and the story suffered because of it. The pacing was half way decent, could've been a lot better as a whole but was passable without issue so it was fine. I wish there were more character development, more plot leading up to the climax, a better and less predictable climax, a more fleshed out romance showing more of both sides of it. And just really a personal pet peeve was the use and overuse of the word "transform" it sounded a little juvenile and out of place for a sort of supernatural story as opposed to a sci-fi one which could've been ignored if it wasn't use so often rather than rotating in different words like "changed" or "shifted" or just "became wolf" or "took the form of". Cute story o guess for what it was I just thought it would be and know it could've been better.

I liked the characters, I enjoy werewolf stories.
However, I don't enjoy lengthing a book when the author spends majority of the time filling the book with wordy, unnecessary, repeated descriptions of what it means to be a werewolf...found myself thinking "blah, blah.." a number of times(I'm a little OCD about reading every word so this was torture.
The parts in between were well-written, the rest was filler. This isn't even a good primer for those new to werewolf genre. Could have been a great < 100 pages book, BUT better than the other werewolf novelettes by this author.
Well written enjoyable story. Hard to put down, don't pick it up if you have deadline at work!
Bridget never disappoints . This story was one of her best. Well written from beginning to end. Her characters as always are full of surprises that melt your heart. She makes you believe anyone can find love and happiness. Excellent story. I loved it.
Despite her fears she quickly finds herself attracted to the strikingly handsome bookstore employee. She is not a woman for a committed relationship, at least she always told herself. And then you have the problem of her family, her demanding mother, the Alpha wolf, and very disappointed in her daughter. Becca doesn't want to follow in the footsteps of her mother but Sophia is persistent. The family dinner party was crazy, ridiculous and it made me laugh so hard that my stomach hurt. The characters are very engaging and I really became attached to them all. This book was exciting, the love was heartwarming and there was something totally unexpected. Will love conquer all or destroy everything? You'll have to read this to find out more. Just go for it and enjoy.
